Are Your Product Formulas Vegan, Natural, or Organic?

Trace of Essence products are vegan, cruelty-free, and free from parabens, sulfates, silicones, talc, and other unnecessary or potentially irritating synthetics. Each formula is developed using a careful balance of science and nature to deliver effective, skin-supportive results.
We source premium ingredients from around the world and formulate in the USA to ensure both quality and consistency.
While many of our ingredients are naturally derived and include organic components, our products are not certified organic or all-natural. This allows us the flexibility to prioritize both safety and performance in every formulation.
Are Your Products FDA Approved?
Cosmetic products are not approved by the FDA.
However, the FDA does regulate cosmetics and their labeling to ensure safety and compliance.
At Trace of Essence, all of our formulations are developed in accordance with FDA guidelines for cosmetic products. We are mindful to avoid drug-related claims and instead focus on creating skincare that supports the natural appearance and health of your skin.

You may have an unknown sensitivity to a specific ingredient. We recommend performing a patch test prior to full application. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

✨ A Note on Active Ingredients
If you are using active ingredients (such as retinol or exfoliating acids) in products outside of Trace of Essence, be mindful of combining them, as this may increase sensitivity.
When in doubt, consult your physician—especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or have specific skin concerns.
How Long Will It Take to Receive My Order?
We prioritize both quality and efficiency in every order.
Most Trace of Essence products are processed and delivered within 5–7 business days. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on order size and destination.
At this time, we ship within the United States.
What Is Your Payment, Refund, and Return Policy?
Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. All transactions are processed through secure, up-to-date payment systems.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, we will gladly replace the item or issue a refund.

Returns & Exchanges
We may accept returns, exchanges, or issue store credit within 30 days of purchase under the following circumstances:
You received an incorrect product
The product is defective (photo verification required)
Other situations may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
To initiate a return, please contact us to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Return Guidelines
Items must be unopened, unused, and in sellable condition
Returns must be approved prior to shipping
A return label will be provided by our customer service team
Approved returns of non-defective items may be subject to a 20% restocking fee
